How it was
As a UI/UX designer at Wonderfi, I am working with a product manager and a team of developers to ship Wonderfi’s star product.
When I joined, we had nothing but a logo, a few illustrations, and low-fidelity mockups that were not optimized for user experience. I was asked to ship out mock-ups that are ready to be in development within 3 weeks. It was a difficult task, but with countless meetings and communication, Wonderfi started its journey with the first mobile product in development.
What I did
A few things I did include:
Designing new product features on both Mobile and web
Journey mapping to design for ideal user flow
Exploring new features and new designs
Working with developers to make sure the product matches the design.
Conclusion
While it was difficult working with technical limitations while exploring opportunities in decentralized finance, I enjoyed this learning experience that allowed me to build a real product from the very beginning.
